## What we do

xbikeXpedition runs guided electric enduro tours in the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains (Northern Tien Shan). We ride silent, zero-emission electric dirt bikes through gorges, canyons, and alpine plateaus around Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan (population 2M, elevation 800m, mountains on three sides reaching 4,000m+).

This is NOT a bike rental. Every tour is guided, gear is included, and beginners can ride from day one.

Complexity scale: 1 = can ride a bicycle. 10 = enduro pro with extreme stamina.

#### Big Almaty Lake (BAO)

Asphalt mountain road through dense Tien Shan spruce to a turquoise glacial lake at 2,511 meters. The road has been closed to combustion vehicles since 2020, so an electric bike is the only motorized way up. Easy ride, big payoff.

#### Japanese Road

#### Medeu to Butakovka Pass

Start at the Medeu ice skating rink (1,691m). Sprint on asphalt, then turn onto Komissarovsky Pass (2,000m), a gnarly obstacle course of deep rain ruts and head-sized rocks. Crest the ridge, drop into Butakovka's shade, finish with a short hike to a 30-meter waterfall.

#### Tuyuk-Su Glacier
