The third Kolsay Lake is the smallest and highest, trapped between vertical walls of the Kungey-Alatau range. There are no roads — only scree slopes and narrow rock ledges. Getting a 70+ kg electric bike up there is something only a few people have ever done. One mistake means falling into an icy drop. The Kyrgyz border is 6 km away, so you need an official border pass. If you've done everything else and still want more — this is it. The absolute end of the line.
Helmet, balaclava, body armor with arm protection, knee pads (worn over your pants), jersey, and gloves.
Water, windbreaker jacket (depending on weather), thick pants, and comfortable closed-toe shoes.

"Third Kolsay Lake is where hardly anyone goes. 2-day expedition through UNESCO territory. The most remote and beautiful water I've seen."
Ерлан Т."If you want true wilderness, this is it. The trail to the third lake is barely marked. Our guide navigated by instinct. Pure adventure."
