Arctic Leopard XT 620
Light but Strong
80 kg with 600 Nm - light enough to maneuver on narrow trails, powerful enough to climb steep grades. A good step up from the Sur-Ron.

The route follows the mountain ridge above Butakovka - not the gorge itself but the knife-edge tops of the dividing ridges. The technique is violent: full throttle up the face, cut power at the crest, shift your weight back, and drop down the other side. If you stall on the way up, you slide backwards with no control. Every peak gives you a moment of vertigo before the next drop. It's a rollercoaster made of mountain. Can finish with a descent into Butakovka gorge or, if you have the stamina, continue up to Bukreev Peak.
Helmet, balaclava, body armor with arm protection, knee pads (worn over your pants), jersey, and gloves.
Water, a windbreaker or jacket (depending on the weather), durable pants, and comfortable closed-toe shoes.

"Butakovka Ridge is the grown-up version of the gorge trail. Exposed ridgeline riding with city views on one side, wilderness on the other."
Асхат Ж."8 hours on the ridge with incredible exposure. Wind can be strong at the top. Technical descents require focus. Amazing experience overall."

Level 7. Boulder fields so bad you'll carry the bike in places. Lake Titova at 3,377m sits in a dark stone bowl with snow on it in August.

3,550m. The air is thin enough to feel it. Loose scree slopes, altitude headaches, and a frozen emerald lake at the end. Electric motors outperform gas engines up here.

Ride to the edge of a 3.5 km glacier at 3,400m+. Boulders the size of tables, sub-zero air in July. No solo rides - this is the real limit.
