Overview
BAO is a glacial lake that changes color with the seasons: deep blue in spring, turquoise by July. You ride in a group with a guide and instructor, who confirms access for the chosen date before payment and departure. The ride is all paved - no off-road skills needed. You climb through dense Tian Shan spruce forest, stop for photos and tea, and reach a lake in a bowl of mountains at 2,511 meters. Before departure, we teach you to control the bike on flat ground.
