A road reaches the First Kolsay Lake, while the Second Lake, Mynzhylgy, sits higher in the mountains. Before departure, the guide confirms which route is available for the selected date and arranges travel only on permitted park roads and trails. Expect roots, loose rocks, and icy stream crossings. This is a difficult full-day route; a night near Saty or camping is available only by separate arrangement.
