Arctic Leopard XT 620
Light but Strong
80 kg with 600 Nm - light enough to maneuver on narrow trails, powerful enough to climb steep grades. A good step up from the Sur-Ron.

Left Talgar is the route local enduro riders talk about with respect. You climb from Butakovka over the Talgar Pass at 3,163m and drop into a gorge that's hidden from the city side of the mountains. Once you're over the pass, there's no quick escape route. You'll see bear tracks, evidence of mudflows and avalanches, and ford milky glacial rivers with Peak Talgar (4,973m) towering above. The gorge follows the Left Talgar river and exits at Shymbulak ski resort. Campfire lunch along the way.
Helmet, balaclava, body armor with arm protection, knee pads (worn over your pants), jersey, and gloves.
Water, a windbreaker or jacket (depending on the weather), durable pants, and comfortable closed-toe shoes.

"Left Talgar is wild and untouched. The tract feels like Siberian taiga. Full-day commitment but you'll see landscapes no tourist ever sees."
Тарас В."Very remote. Trail conditions change depending on recent rain. We hit mud in the lower sections, ankle deep in places. The forest riding higher up was the best part, dense old trees and soft dirt. Bring spare socks."

Level 9. Two hard routes chained into one 12-hour day. You will carry the bike on your shoulders. You will drop it dozens of times. For the genuinely obsessed.

Level 9. Climb to Tereshkova (3,200m), then ride straight down through Gorelnik - 1,500m of vertical descent. Brakes overheat. Front wheel washes out on wet roots. Terrifying.

Level 9. The tourist trail ends at the first lake. Getting to the second lake on a bike means horse trails, fallen trees, and icy river crossings. Camping option.
